MIL-STD-1689A, DEPARTMENT OF DEFENSE MANUFACTURING PROCESS STANDARD: FABRICATION, WELDING, AND INSPECTION OF SHIPS STRUCTURE (23 NOV 1990)., This standard contains minimum requirements for the fabrication and inspection of the hull and associated structures of combatant ships.
