【摘要】:ThisEuropeanStandardspecifiesarangeofjointingmethodsforconnectinglowalloysteeltubesandsteeltubesandfittingsforusewithaqueousliquids.Thefollowingspecificjointtypesarecoveredbythisdocument:buttweldedjoints,weldedspigotandsocket(orsleevejoints),weldingcollars,flangejoints,threadedjoints,spigotandsocketjointswithsealandmechanicalcouplings.ThisEuropeanStandardspecifiesrequirementsforthestrengthandintegrityofthejointsandthetestingofthejoints.ThisEuropeanStandarddoesnotspecifytherequirementsforthetubesorthefittings.ThisEuropeanStandardissuitableforjointsintendedfortheconveyanceofwaterforhumanconsumption,afteranappropriatecoatinghasbeenapplied.ThisEuropeanStandardisnotintendedforuseinheatingnetworkswhereelevatedtemperaturepropertiesarerequired.Flexiblejointswhichpermitsignificantangulardeflection,bothduringandafterinstallationandwhichcanacceptslightoffsetofthecentreline,arenotcoveredbythisEuropeanStandard.
