【摘要】:SAFETYPRECAUTIONS—Theattentionofallpersonsconcernedwithmanagingandcarryingoutthistestisdrawntothefactthatfiretestingcanbehazardousandthatthereisapossibilitythattoxic,harmfulsmokeandgasescanbeevolvedduringthetest.Operationalhazardscanalsoariseduringthetestingofspecimensandthedisposaloftestresidues.Anassessmentofallpotentialhazardsandriskstohealthshouldbemadeandsafetyprecautionsshouldbeidentifiedandprovided.Writtensafetyinstructionsshouldbeissued.Appropriatetrainingshouldbegiventorelevantpersonnel.Laboratorypersonnelshouldensurethattheyfollowwrittensafetyinstructionsatalltimes.ThisInternationalStandardspecifiesamethodoftestfordeterminingthenon-combustibilityperformance,underspecifiedconditions,ofhomogeneousproductsandsubstantialcomponentsofnon-homogeneousproducts.InformationontheprecisionofthetestmethodisgiveninAnnexA.
